Anantara’s second venture on Samui

Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas
has signed a management contract to open Anantara Lawana,
Koh Samui, the company's second luxury resort on the
island.
The agreement with Lawana Ent Co. Limited will see
Anantara Lawana offering its guest an ultimate lifestyle
on a pristine stretch of the island’s most celebrated
beach.
William Heinecke, Chief Executive Officer of Minor
International, and the founder of the Anantara brand,
said: “Announcing a second resort on the beautiful island
of Koh Samui, as well as our seventh resort nationwide in
Thailand, is further proof of Anantara’s passion for
creating amazing stories for our guests to experience
through our growing diversity of unique destination
experiences.”
This latest move illustrates Anantara’s progress. It has
plans to develop at least five new properties over the
course of the next two years, and as many as 40 resorts in
Asia, Africa and the Middle East over the next 10 years.
